Welcome to Pierce Arrow in Pawhuska, OK
Business partners, Barbara Jacques and Kaycee Brandon opened Pierce Arrow on July 4th, 2018 slowly in a small manner and eventually started selling more items.
When you step into Barbara and Kaycee’s Pierce Arrow, you experience the same feel of the luxury car. An extra bonus when visiting their store you will see a 1931 Pierce Arrow hubcap hanging on the wall behind the register. Their store has a unique welcoming feel from their personalities to their classy clothing, beautiful jewelry, purses and unique artisan gift items.
Barbara was raised in Ponca City and Newkirk and actually graduated High School with Kaycee’s dad. She has lived in Osage county for 40 years and has been married to her husband Dave for 39 1/2 years. Dave’s family has actually been ranching in Osage county since 1906.
Barbara has a teaching background where she taught art K-12 in Shidler for 8 years. She also taught for a private educational company. She then opened up a studio in her home to do art work. In 2016, she decided to open up her studio in town where she did metal and silver smith work along with sterling silver, copper, gold and hand engraving. Once the Mercantile opened in 2016, she knew she needed to expand her business so she turned her studio in 2017 into Salt Creek Gallery and Marketplace. She ran that business for 10 months before selling it and opening Pierce Arrow. Barbara never thought she wanted a store but absolutely loves it. Barbara also shared that she loves the “building” piece of building businesses.
Kaycee Brandon is an OSU graduate who not long after graduating started her own business and now has had it for 10 years. She also owns Whiskey Creek Boutique in Stillwater and has been voted Best Boutique in Stillwater. Kaycee splits up her week and works part time at both businesses.
Kaycee and Barbara want their customers to know that they love meeting all the people from around the globe that come in every day. They also enjoy helping them find something special to take home as a souvenir from their trip.
